A warm, friendly close-knit social group for childfree women in Winnipeg. Our community brings together women who are childfree by choice or childless due to circumstances beyond their control. This safe, positive space helps you connect, share experiences, and build meaningful friendships.
Many members also meet outside of Meetup for coffee, games nights, potlucks, karaoke, and other fun hangouts. This makes our group more than just a social circle. It’s a true childfree social hub in Winnipeg, where friendships grow and thrive.

We’re so glad you found Winnipeg’s Childfree Women’s group!
Whether you’re childfree by choice or childless, this is a supportive, women’s-only space to be yourself. You’ll be celebrated, connected, and part of a community that truly understands you. You’re not alone.
This social group is for anyone who wants real friendships, meaningful conversations, and genuine connection – all without the pressures of parenthood. There are no questions about your reproductive plans, and no trite sayings like ‘you’ll change your mind!’ or ‘who will take care of you when you’re older.’ It’s just a group of amazing women who get it.
We meet twice a month in Winnipeg and the surrounding area, hosting events designed to spark laughter, conversation, and connection. These often include great food and conversation, fun activities and curated events.

Membership is currently just $10.99 USD for the year, and covers the cost of having a group on Meetup. As more members join, the annual per-person cost decreases. This is not a group for profit.

What Does “Childfree” Mean?

Childfree – women who have chosen not to have children and are happy with that decision

Childless – women who do not have children due to circumstances beyond their control and have accepted that lifestyle
This does not include women who plan to have children in the future, empty nesters, or parents without full custody. However, women who are stepmoms, have not had children, and identify with the childfree community are welcome.
All women who identify as childfree or childless are welcome.
This is a women-only community (cis, bi, lesbian, and trans women are welcome).

Whether it’s a ticketed event with a bit of swank, or a free summer picnic in the park, or a home-based potluck – there’s something for everyone.

Note: Our events are popular and often fill up quickly — waitlists are common, but spots often open up closer to the date. RSVP early to secure your spot!
